Private tastings (not full meals) & small classes with Kevin (A Taste for Life). In-home visits: Charlotte & Union County, North Carolina only. Learn the booth sauces and spreads: ponzu, sesame, wasabi, broth & black sesame oil.
In-home cooking/tasting (4–8) — Charlotte & Union County, NC only — or a partner kitchen / shop group in that same area. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only (weekends = festivals & events).
This is a tasting, not a full meal — small portions so everyone can try the sauces and spreads. Kevin is not cooking a complete dinner for the table.
Host provides: plates, spoons, forks, napkins, and a clean counter/table. Kevin brings the sauces, spreads, tasting ingredients, and the pots/pans he has; he may ask to borrow a host pan if needed.
About 2 hours at your home: roughly 30 minutes for Kevin to prep/cook the tasting stations, about an hour for everyone to try the sauces and spreads and ask questions, then about 20 minutes for Kevin to clean his pots and pans before he leaves. Timing may vary a little — this is a good starting plan.
Service area: In-home cooking/tasting is offered in Charlotte and Union County, North Carolina only (not outside those areas).
Travel: In-home visits include Kevin’s travel at $1 per mile round-trip, shown as a separate line on the Square invoice.
